What is Ibuprofen?

Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, commonly known as an NSAID. It is used to relieve pain from various conditions such a headache, menstrual cramps, dental pain, muscle aches, and arthritis.  It is also effective at reducing fever and for the relief of minor aches and pain caused by the common cold or the flu.

How does Ibuprofen work?

It works by blocking the bodies production of inflammatory mediators, as a response to pain or trauma. This helps to reduce swelling, pain and fever.

How do you take Ibuprofen?

Ibuprofen is taken by mouth usually every 4 to 6 hours with a full glass of water. It is advised not to lie down within ten minutes after taking the medication. Ibuprofen and other NSAID's commonly cause irritation of the stomach, thus it is recommended to take Ibuprofen with a meal, a glass of milk, or an antacid such as Lansoprazole or Omeprazole.

It is advised to start taking this medication at the lowest possible dose in order to reduce the risk of stomach bleeding and other side effects. Do not increase your dose or take this drug more often than what is directed by your doctor or by the package label.

If your condition persists or worsens after 7-10 days, or you notice signs of gastric bleeding such as darkened or blood stained stools, stop the treatment and seek medical help immediately.

(You can purchase an appropriate treatment to help reduce the risks of gastric irritation whilst using Ibuprofen, by following the on-screen prompt when completing your health consultation form with Access Doctor).

How do i buy Ibuprofen 600mg online?

You can safely buy Ibuprofen online through Access Doctor. You will need to have first an online consultation with a medical prescriber before your order will be supplied. The online consultation will ensure that Ibuprofen is the right medication for your medical condition.

Ibuprofen may have some inactive ingredients that could trigger allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your doctor or pharmacists for more details about the subject.
