Every order is reviewed by a real, UK-qualified prescriber and dispensed under the supervision of our Superintendent Pharmacist — never approved by an algorithm alone.
Our story
Why we started Access Doctor.
Access Doctor was founded in 2018 by a group of UK-trained pharmacists, doctors and healthcare professionals — each with over ten years' experience in frontline healthcare — around one simple aim: safe, convenient, confidential healthcare online, done as properly as it would be in person.

Every consultation is assessed individually by a qualified, UK-registered Independent Prescriber. Our Medical Director, Dr Abdishakur Mohamed Ali MBBS, MRCGP (GMC No. 7041056) — a practising GP with previous experience in the NHS 999 service — formulated the consultation process and audits its outcomes. No treatment is approved without prescriber clinical sign-off.
Dispensed under GPhC supervision
Our pharmacy operates under the direct oversight of our Superintendent Pharmacist, Mr Nur Choudhury (GPhC No. 2058287), an Independent Prescriber ensuring every dispensed medicine meets UK pharmacy standards.
