What is Elleste Solo MX?

Elleste Solo MX is used as a treatment to alleviate the symptoms of menopause.

It is a form of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to replace the depleted natural oestrogen levels of a woman during menopause.

Elleste Solo MX is a transdermal patch that is applied to the skin to supply a specific dose of the active ingredient estradiol.

Estradiol in Elleste Solo MX patch is a synthetic form of oestrogen that acts similar to the body’s natural oestrogen. Therefore, estradiol restores the normal hormonal balance in menopausal women to relief common menstruation symptoms.

How does Elleste Solo MX work?

Women going through menopause have a reduced level of oestrogen in their blood levels. This drop in oestrogen level gives rise to several troublesome symptoms such as vaginal dryness, irregular periods, night sweats, chills, weight gain, sleep problems, and hair thinning.

To make up for the depleted oestrogen, Elleste Solo MX patches work as an artificial supplement to supply estradiol. Estradiol is a synthetic steroid hormone that functions just as the natural oestrogen.

The patches, when placed on the skin, release a constant dose of estradiol into the bloodstream. Doing so relieves most of the menopause-related symptoms and helps maintain good vaginal health.

This type of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is useful particularly for females who have their ovaries removed or damaged due to some other condition

What’s the right dosage for Elleste Solo MX?

Elleste Solo MX patches are available in 40 micrograms and 80 micrograms products. The Elleste Solo MX 40 mcg delivers 1.25 milligrams of Estradiol in 24 hours while Elleste Solo MX 80 mcg delivers a relatively higher 2.5 mg of estradiol.

Both 40 mcg and 80 mcg versions of Elleste Solo MX patches are to be used twice a week while the overall duration of treatment could be up to 28 days.
